Brussel sprouts easily turned from a BLEH side dish into a fun side dish when I make this yummy caramelized Brussels sprouts with bacon recipe!
It’s savory with a dash of balsamic-y sweetness.

- Brussels sprouts, halved or shaved: I use shaved most of the time when I cook this recipe. Because they’re easier to chew and still soak up all the yummy flavors.
- Olive oil: To help the sprouts get that crispy edge.
- Balsamic vinegar: Adds the perfect hint of sweetness.
- Salt & Pepper
- Garlic powder
- Smoked paprika
- Real bacon bits (store-bought or homemade)

How To Make Caramelized Brussels Sprouts with Bacon
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Mix together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a medium mixing bowl.
Toss the brussels sprouts in the mixture.
Spread the brussel sprouts onto a cooking sheet. Then, sprinkle the bacon bits evenly on top of the brussel sprouts.


Cook for 15-18 minutes.

- 1 tsp black pepper
- ¾ tsp garlic powder
- 2-3 tbsp real bacon bits (store-bought or homemade)
- ¼ tsp smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Mix together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and garlic powder in a medium mixing bowl.
- Toss in the brussel sprouts and mix thoroughly with a spoon to coat the brussels sprouts.
